Default catter with dumpvalve

should i still get a little bit of chatter with a dump valve fitted
if i boost up and lift off sharply i get dump valve niose and no chatter but if i boost and lift off slowly i get chatter with no dump valve niose does this mean the spring in the dump valve is to strong
(frst t2 14psi)

same here i get chatter and dump, T28 at 19psi.

a group A cossy filter helps with chatter noise, but maybe your turbo is a bit small to do both sounds?

you will get the same chatter as with not using a dump valve, the way to do it is let your foot off the throttle slowely then it will chatter without the dump valve, if you lift straight off the vacuum opens the d/valve allowing the air to escape meaning it wont reach the turbo to cause it to sltall/chatter. sounds really boy racer'y but you cant help but do it.lol escpecially when there is people aroung.

Oh the joys of owning a turbo (makes every 30yr old 17 again )
