Default turbosmart dumpvalve

hello,

i have a question. a mate of mine has a turbosmart megasonic dumpvalve. but it is not sissing at all. his old dv is working well. so there is no vavuum prob. but when we put the turbosmart dv back on then there is nothing. you can adjust the dv from soft to hard. but nothing.

somebody has any experience with this. do we have to modify something.

the cos is running 21psi.

You can hand-twist the end to adjust the spring pressure.

Thanks - Sunny.

its this one which doesnt work properly. the scription tells you to use a 5mm vacuum hose. but there is not a 5mm connecting on the inlet manifold.

someone can give me an idea

cheers

i tried the valve on hard on soft in the middle but it stay's the same and in the discription they really advise you to use a 5 mm vacuum hose but the stange thought i had that the connection on the inlet stay's the 2,5 mm so just changing the vacuum hose wont be enough ???
Does anyone have such a valve fitted on a cvh or cossie engine ????????
