hi just wondering if the frst head is the same as the xr2i ie valves cam ect thanks

they have different exhaust valves I think

Could you change the valves round because i can get a low milage xr2i head

yes the valves are cheap, I have a spare set, but what im not sure about is the deck size, as its turbo I dont know if there is a difference in size to make it a lower cr, I would of thought they were the same for manufacturing economy, I would double check with a specialist first

Yes they are the same, if i remember rightly, the exhaust valves are stainless (dont quote me though), if yours are, you can use these. The combustion chambers are the same, its just the pistons which alter the CR.

I've never heard this about the exhaust valves but it might be correct. The other difference is the cam pully.
