Default Comments/advice on my engine spec please

Ive just recieved my block back from my engine maker, it was supposed to be a 2.0 zetec block with farndon rods and wiseco pistons with a comp of 9:1. I have found it has standard rods and accralite pistons with a cr of 8:1. It is now being reassembled with pec h section rods. I am a bit worried as I have heard bad things about accralite pistons, This is a fresh build using a new block and crank, both standard but like I say new. Will this engine spec be good and strong for running about 16psi??? Are the pec rods less quality to the farndon ones??

any advice would be great

its not so much the boost its how well its mapped as well i wouldent worry about the pistons as long as they are in good condition you should not fined then a problem have u had a zvh or zetec turbo built as for boost im running that on standard rods if you are useing a new unground crank as you say with them rods i would say you could run any think up to 25psi but agan its all down to how well its set up what car is it going in?

Thanks for the reply, here is the proposed engine spec:

new 2.0 zetec block
New zetec crank
new standard size bearings
new PEC H beam rods
new Accralite pistons (8:1 cr)
Dark Green 440cc injectors (maybe 400?)
stage 2 head, ported but standard size valves
new standard cam
new stage 3 t3 cossie turbo
new gotech management (to be mapped by mark/jamie at jamsport, top lads)

usual other stuff

do you think this should be strong enough for a fast road car? it is a freshly built engine using mostly new parts

P.S. It is going in my fiesta mk3 rs turbo demo car

thanks for getting back, it is a zvh and i have a cts stage 2+ box:

quaiffe diff
uprated bearing
shot peened cogs

im worried a bit about the pistons as they were machined by burton power to make the cr 8:1, are b-power competent? will these pistons last me a few years?

spoke to ian a few times, very clever bloke and always offers sound advice, I have tried contacting msd a few time but fell on deaf ears. shame.

Jamsport seem very helpful so I will be taking the car there for the aftermarket managament conversion and the mapping.

glad the engine will be ok for me, was having a bit of a panic moment there.lol

Im hoping the engine should produce about 220bhp with plenty of torque at about 15psi, finger crossed

do you think im unrealistic with my forcasted power figure for the boost??
This is my first zvh project so I may be way out

ive got a thread in the reso forum, its called 200bhp fiesta, will be updating it this weekend, keep your eyes peeled as instead of rebuilding it concourse as every other person does (they all have bottomless wallets) im doing it on a realistic budget.
The car is going to be a fast road car and hopefully should be able to mix it with the big boys, ideally keep up with my br's 300bhp sti or my sisters evo 8 (git & bitch) lol
