Why did you do a "battery to boot" conversion?

eerrrmmm so i could free up space in the bay to fit a bmc and transferre the weight to the rear of the car, the car is tripped out n e way, only two seats mate, you do notice a difference, a didnt realise how heavy the battery was. everything is fine but its just my dash lights that flicker a little at high revs, i know there is a common fault with the dashlights anyway and you just turn them down a little but these flicker constantly at high revs, anyone got any ideas to how to solve this, i was mibi thinkin a power cap mite possibly help.
cheers folks

Mate the reason you dash board light flicker is due to the variable resistor in the light switch, If you replace the light switch it will solve it but it will soon start again. I have had 3 light switches in mine all under warranty, however im going to find a schematic and redesign the light circuit (thats what i do for a living) so it should be quite easy when i get the time

Hope this helps and i will post up a solution once i have one

thanks bud, i it quite easy to do,see it only started once i had done my battery boot convrsion and only happens in high revs although the car runs fine and no other lights flicker, does it sound familiar yeah or could i possibly need a booster or power cap, i used good cable aswell to compensate for the overall distance of the travelling voltage.
thanks mate.
