idiots guide for fitting fan override switch???

Default idiots guide for fitting fan override switch???

Could someone do me one of these please - i.e. switch on the dash to switch the fan on whilst in traffic etc. On esc cos.

Pretty easy, get the right sort of wire for the job to start then...........i think you can, if your fan switch is working ok literally connect 2 wires to each on that and run them thru to the car to a switch so essentially ur bridging the fan but dont quote me on that!!

The way i had to do it as ive got an elec prob with it somewhere is wire a negative wire from the battery too the neg wire on the fans, then connect a wire to the posi side of batt, into the car to an on/off switch, then from the switch back to the engine bay and feed it to the posi wire going to the fan and hay presto.

Yeah, cheers mate!! - I suppose that makes sense!! Right next question - where is the fan switch??? I'm going to have a guess and say the back right hand side of the head, near the coolant temp sensor/oil modine pipe to head goes in type area???????????????????

Ermmmmmmmmmmmmmm dunno on an escos!!!!!!!!!!

If the rads are similar to a saph then its on the radiator itself mate, if ur lookin over the engine bay at the bottom on the right hand side, but not sure it its the same as a saph or not

Same for escos, passenger side lower radiator.

Is that the right way for a switch stu?! Works on mine but u might wanna have a fuse or something somewhere to do it properly possibly?! im no sparky lol.
