I fitted ap racing 4 pot disc s and calipers today (escort cos)
fitting was not a problem.
after road testing the car. i herd a noise comeing from the wheels
after investigateing i noticed the caliper was touching the disc.

to remedy this i had to put a washer behind the caliper carrier to move the
caliper away from the disc. is this right. any one else had this problem?

finally you have some decent brakes

 

Yes, when i did mine to centre the caliper over the disc I needed to put spacers on both bolts on the nearside and on the top bolt on the offside.

 

Yeah, done the same myself, not AP's though, can't afford them at the mo

 

Yep finally treated the old girl to some decent stoppers.
