is there a gasket after the exhaust manifold to the turbo elbow on a 2wd manifold.(the twin bore pipe between turbo and ex manifold)cheers

no and dont use any sealer nothin

 

just that ive brought this cossie and the engine was fucked the bloke who had it b4 siliconed every gasket on the engine,spun no4 shell,ground no 4 rod to fit shells,put a -18 actuator on so only 12psi of boost,low oil pressure so that fucked the turbo it goes on and on-so who no"s what will be mising etc!so im just going through the process of getting it built back together properly now,re ground crank,new rods etc
oh and the bloke worked for the AA aswell!

 

Think I might be joining the RAC now then!!
As said no gasket they soon soot up and seal, very occasionally they may be warped and need a slight skim if not sealing properly.
