Default Duratec, Omex, Throttle bodies... issues

I have finally started the duratec in my fiesta

it has a start up map on the ecu

when i try to rev the car it doesn;t like it and will come close to cutting out, anybody have any ideas what i need to do, i thought it should rev on a startup map, or do things need adjusting?

The map is most likely a million miles out.

Had same problem. Connectors on flywheel sender was correct according to manual but after switching I got it to rew upp. Still have lots of other problems with the system so if anyone has any good maps I would happily test them. Duratech 1,6 sigma engine.

Surely omex have a closer map in their library ?, worth asking the they can email it to you to dowload on pc/laptop then onto ecu.

spec is short for SPECIFICATION, ie what is the engine cams, headwork, block etc etc basically what has been done/added to the engine to make it different.

1,6 Duratech Sigma from a focus flexifuel-04
Now fitted in a westfiels chassi.
Air temp sender, engine temperature sensor from Omex
Throttle position sensor from BMW (E36 i think)
MAP sensor from Sierra DOHC -93
No other things has been changed in the engine.
