i have got a ford ka 1.3i i have recently noticed that it keeps juddering really bad when im driving its like im losing power then all of a sudden i get it back again and it kicks ya back in he seat what could be causing this please help
i changed the ht leads and the plugs only been changed not too long ago as it has just had a full service it judders most of the time so im starting to think it is summit serious how much would a coil pack cost because thats the only thing that i have not done

early zetec-e engines were prone to valves sticking at low revs, does it only judder when traveling at low speeds or does it do it all the time? my fiesta has a 1.8 zetec and also does that, i just rev it to about 6000rpm before changing gear, give the car a good thrash for a while and see if that sorts it. what spec oil do you use?

I have just replaced my coil pack on my 52 plate KA because of juddering and it still does it, especially when in high gears n when you whack your foot on the floor. i am thinking maybe the plugs or the HT leads but the coilpack had no effect and is fiddley to replace. MAKE SURE YOU GET THE CORRECT PLUGS ON THE CORRECT HOLES IF REPLACING!
