i have put my headunit in connected everything all the standard speakers are working but there is no power going to the amp, i checked all battery connections is fine, the only wire i got left unconnected is the REMOTE wire coming from the amp to the back of the headunit, but i got no place to connect it to the headunit do i need the REMOTE cable connted for the amp to power up?

yep u need the remote wire connected as it sends a small voltage to the amp to turn it on. if its an aftermarket headunit it should have one. might be blue, blue and white or pink and white?

or for a temp fix put a small bit of wire from the battery wire on the amp to the remote bit on amp and it will work but permently be on aswell as draining the battery

The remote wire is usually a blue one off the back of the headunit, failing that wire it onto the switched live with a 1 amp inline fuse

It will defo have a remote on wire mate, put a tester on any wires you have remaining 1 by 1 and c if you get a live feed of it when you turn stereo on if you get a pos feed of one of the wires you will find that would be the wire.Theres normally a wiring diagram on the top of stereos nowerdays anyway so check that aswell.

As i said before, turn stereo on then test each wire you have remaining to see witch one has a positive when stereo is on,that will be youre remote wire.

Not a very good thing to do just incase you blow somethin, just get a test light or voltmeter and you will be sorted.

You say youve got 2 fuse holders next to your battery, have you checked to see if there are any fuses on the amp?? Also you have got a permanent power and earth to amp?? Has your amp got a power light? if so put a piece of wire from + on amp to the remote turn on on the amp,if the amp is working this should power the amp up to check if its not a fooked amp.

If your amp powers up you will have to check your remote wire is getting a live feed when you turn your stereo on,if it is then you must have a break in the remote wire from your stereo to amp.

i solved it, i connected the remote to the 12v live red wire, now when stereo comes on amp comes on when stereo goes off stereo goess off awesome, but still got another problem lol

so i got the amp working and managed to get the sub working too, but the 6x9's got no sound coming from them. behind my dash i have like 4-5 leads coming from the amp. like 1 black 2 red 2 white, but on the back of my stereo i only have a slot for one white and one red????? any ideas?

You only need to use the red and the white one,if need be buy two rca splitters so you can put two red and two white into the back of your stereo.Personally i would amp the front speakers with the sub amp you shouldnt need to just use the stereo wires to front speakers and amp the sub.

It may be the red wire and yellow wire you need to switch over as on some iso blocks you do but only if the stereo isnt holding its memory when switched off ie.loosing its radio stations when you have already programed them in,if there ok then you shouldnt have to change any wires on the iso block.
