or for a temp fix put a small bit of wire from the battery wire on the amp to the remote bit on amp and it will work but permently be on aswell as draining the battery

if u got a manuel for it look in the wiring diagram and it should say what colur and where to find it. the brown is tele mute for the handsfree, try the pink one as the remote
no manuals unfrotunately, i tried touching the remote metal with the brown and the pink and still got nothing. do most aftermarket stereos have the connection on the back of it and how would i know if i say bought one off ebay?

It will defo have a remote on wire mate, put a tester on any wires you have remaining 1 by 1 and c if you get a live feed of it when you turn stereo on if you get a pos feed of one of the wires you will find that would be the wire.Theres normally a wiring diagram on the top of stereos nowerdays anyway so check that aswell.
can u jus touch the amps remote wire wit all what i can till it turns on :P as im at work, mind you i work in a hotel and maintencance cupboard is open haha :P
Not a very good thing to do just incase you blow somethin, just get a test light or voltmeter and you will be sorted.
ye the fuse is good, i got 2 fuse holders near the battery is that usual coz on my last car only had one
You say youve got 2 fuse holders next to your battery, have you checked to see if there are any fuses on the amp?? Also you have got a permanent power and earth to amp?? Has your amp got a power light? if so put a piece of wire from + on amp to the remote turn on on the amp,if the amp is working this should power the amp up to check if its not a fooked amp.
If your amp powers up you will have to check your remote wire is getting a live feed when you turn your stereo on,if it is then you must have a break in the remote wire from your stereo to amp.
yes!!! the amp powered up all the lights come on, but while trying i blown the fuse because i touched the other metal bit the negative i think, so replaced fuse and i did it again so will be fuses in morninand have another play
i solved it, i connected the remote to the 12v live red wire, now when stereo comes on amp comes on when stereo goes off stereo goess off awesome, but still got another problem lol
so i got the amp working and managed to get the sub working too, but the 6x9's got no sound coming from them. behind my dash i have like 4-5 leads coming from the amp. like 1 black 2 red 2 white, but on the back of my stereo i only have a slot for one white and one red????? any ideas?

You only need to use the red and the white one,if need be buy two rca splitters so you can put two red and two white into the back of your stereo.Personally i would amp the front speakers with the sub amp you shouldnt need to just use the stereo wires to front speakers and amp the sub.

It may be the red wire and yellow wire you need to switch over as on some iso blocks you do but only if the stereo isnt holding its memory when switched off ie.loosing its radio stations when you have already programed them in,if there ok then you shouldnt have to change any wires on the iso block.
