Default Problem with steering, brakes etc....

Its me again. Long time no seen. Been busy with the car, school, work etc. Hope you guys are all ok. I have got another problem, actually more than one.

1.Well first of all the steering all of a sudden came to feel like a power steering. Is that problem coming from the ball joints? Am I right?

2.Next when I turn all the steering I hear a click from the wheels but not always. I don't know what this is.

3.And finally regarding bleeding. Is it true that I have to bleed the escort with the engine started? Because some people told me that I am bleeding it wrong that is why my brakes are soft. It is feeling like the first bit of the brake pedal does nothing then ok brakes work.

I would be glad if someone could help me because I ended up confused. Thanks a lot.

im no expert but ill give my opinion. I cant see y you need the engine running to bleed the brakes, ive neve done that on any car, if the pedal is soft it sound like air in the system. as for your clicking if its worse the more you turn the wheel then it sound like a cv joint is worn (is the boot split or leaking greese somhow)? good luck in getting it sorted mate.

Thanks. Then I am doing them ok. Know it is just a click. And there is no worn cv joint cover and no grease. I also found today that one of the balljoints situated in the lower arm is thorn. Might that be the sound I am hreaing?

I've had a similar problem which led to the half shaft being bad. If it's rear-wheel drive then exclude my comment. better bring your car into nearest mechanic.

Ok fixed. I didn't have to change anything. The only thing was that my steering bushes were a little bit loose. Just 1 tiny problem left. I am sure someone knows. How much psi should I put for tyres measuring R13 145/70? Thanks.
