Is fuel getting TO the metering unit?

If I understand how they work correctly, they're basically a distributor for fuel instead of HT electricity. If so, and if fuel is coming in, is it coming out of the metering unit, ie, are the pipes to the injectors blocked?

yeah we put 12 quids worth in it before we tried to start her lol. someone has told me its the pump not priming properly and need more fuel to prime it as its a high pressure one and its pumping air and fuel around hopefully that will do the trick

not enough fuel i had a 1/4 of a tank and the pump wouldn't prime i put another 7 quid in it and the pump primed and she fired up. all that time wasted changing things around and it was the fuel lol
