Default Fiesta turbo help please

hi everyone i really need some help cause i have run out of ideas for what it could be.

i have a fiesta turbo (OFAC) running T3 701's and chip

the probablem is: i can only just get the car to start and when it does start it will only just idel as soon as i touch the throttle it dies, its so bad i cant get it over 1400rpm

so far i have done....

new plugs
new leeds
new ecu
took chip off
took 701's off
played with fuel pressure (then put back)

none of this has mad any difference

Please any ideas would help alot

Thanks

danny

Have you checked the pipework to the MAP sensor?

You could always get one of those £25 Halfords fault code readers and plug that into the diagnostic port. It will tell you about most electrical and sensor faults, but not about air leaks or things like that...

+ 1 with this problem I've got spark. Sometimes it will start. When it starts sometimes it will rev a little if you open the throttle gently. when you open the throttle full it dies. will start sometimes with the TPS disconnected but will not rev. Will start sometimes with the MAP pipe taken off the inlet.

have tested resistance of TPS and CO2 both seem to have a resistance so I assume they are working but if anyone else could test these and let me know...?

I've also managed to get and LED on the diagnostics port but cant find anywhere that tells me what the sequence of flashes mean...?

Cheers
JAmes.

One thing to try - purely as a test. Unplug the coolant temperature sensor from underneath the inlet manifold - and try starting it.

I had some strange things going on with my OFAC last year and it wouldn't run for more than a few seconds. If you unplugged the CTS it would run indefinitely, - just not very well. It would be interesting to see if these are the same.

well as far as i can see you have tried the most credible reasons it wont start...next to try would be cam timing ..( if different cam or new belt fitted..)...and maybe a compression test...worth a try...
