Default boost gauge not reading correctly

i have just fitted a rs500 dash into my sapp it has the boost gauge in the rev counter.all the boost pipes have been changed since i ran it last.what is happening now is when the engine is off the gauge reads zero then when started and ticking over it reads -10 but when i rev the engine and go on the boost the gauge does not go over zero.i dont think i have but just in case could it be that the amal valve pipes have been reconnected in the wrong order and if so could anyone please tell me which outlet connects to where from left to right or any other suggestions please

it wont go above zero unless you are actually driving the car - at idle it creates vaccum hence why it reads below zero
