you are overboosting your engine by 12psi? what gear(s) does it do that in?

That is the trouble with an electronic gauges, they will capture the briefest of spike. Even if it is too short (fractions of a second) to actually register on an analogue gauge. Providing that you are not seeing this register on your normal gauge, then don't worry about it .

However, if this is what your SECS is continuously seeing, then make sure that the hose hasn't popped off your actuator giving unlimited boost .

Build the boost progressively in a tall gear from low rpm and report back what it is climbing to and at what revs. If it starts to climb above 14psi - BACK OFF. Take it to your tuner for a thorough check over. I would also point out that some NMS ("Gunship") stage 1 conversions have been live-mapped to run this kind of boost in the mid-range, so it isn't always an issue, but I would get it checked out before you lunch an engine....

What boost control do you run?
How long does this spike last?

Dont know chip,as monitor flashes till you reset it,but would say a slit second,as you dont feel 26 psi of boost

Well then ignore it, its just what the map sensor sees for an instant while the actuator is responding to the boost by opening the wastegate.

Really the monitor should have a setting to decide how long a boost condition needs t be met for before it alarms.

I would want a manual gauge in to confirm that the boost spike is not lasting.

You said it doesn't happen in normal driving - what do you have to do to induce it?
