Hi ppl Im having a wee prob with my 89 ERST and its totally getting on my jublies!!! Anyway it goes like this... whenever Im driving along the road and I start to accelerate (spelling) a bit hard anywhere from 50-70+ mph it starts pulling fine but all of a sudden it judders a bit and backfires and then starts going again. As I've said it only does this under slight to hard acceleration, not when you pottering along gaining speed etc.

Has anyone else experenced this problem, its only started happening the other day, and my car was set up the other week and it was running fine. Im thinking the fuel pump might be on its way out but Im not 100%. Just wondered if anyone had any advice before I handed it over to the garage ££££
