mk6 escort gti ticking/tractor noise?

as above im gettin like a loud ticking/tractorish noise from the engine bay any ideas?

it gets louder the faster you go and its not a driveshaft/cv type noise but definately from the engine.

could it be low on oil or an injector or something like that?

exhaust manifold gasket?

had this before and it did sound like a tractor

i assume it could be the mani gasket as its on 100k miles

sounds very much like this in this clip any ideas? oil/engine flush/redx something like that will that work or is it mani gasket?
