Hi
My head gasket has gone on my erst, and have been told that when i get it replaced it would be an ideal time to Port, Polish and gas flow the head.

What does this mean, and how is it done?

It means modifying the inlet and exhaust ports to improve the gas flow through your engine. The ports are enlarged by grinding away a certain ammount off the port wall, finally they are polished to get rid of all the inperfections etc to further improve the flow.
