Default Cossie not starting

Baically refitted the head on saturday and all the other bits and tried to start the car, and it tries too but doesnt want too turn over, give it a bit of revs and it almost does but splutters and dies, its getting fuel but doesnt seem to be gettting a decent spark, what would cause this any ideas?! or anything else it could be. Plugs seem fine, leads/dizzy cap and rotor arm seem fine, crank sensor seems ok and the coil is a group a one and isnt that old Could poss be ign module so will need to borrow one off someone else.

Timing and everything else is ok and as far as i know everythings connected ok, i did however manage to snap the map sensor plastic bit that connects to the inlet phlem but would that stop it starting or just make it run like shit?! managed to temp fix it so should still work. Gonna get a compression tester just to eliminate the chance of it being it loosing compression somewhere but need ideas cos im getting fucking pissed off now

Had this problem with mine ages ago after changing a belt, it was the TDC sensor that was not correctly spaced even though i hadn't touched it

Well that havn't moved at all from rebuilding it, but can u actually adjust the TDC sensor?! had a look at it earlier and there doesnt apprear to be very much movement when u undo the bolts holding it in place

Dont think theres a lot of movement cant remember as it was a while ago but remember using 'feeler' gauges to get it right

K, gonna go check too see if theres any spark getting to the plugs in a min or not, being dark will make it easier too see if there is, and i swear when i tried on sat it wasnt getting one. least that gives me an idea if its an ignition prob or not.

The TDC sensor is adjuststable even though it only moves by about a mm, measure the gap on all 3 pick ups using feeler guages and then set the gap on the closest pick up. Rotate the engine to make sure all other pick up points clear also check the phase sensor gap

Right just checked and theres a spark going to each plug

So were looking at loosing compression on the cylinders or no/not enuff fuel getting in arnt we?!

This sounds like switches motor the other night

So i'll take it from the top:-

Is the fuel pump priming/working?

Yea pumps priming, and you can smell that fuels going thru, althou will check tomorrow to make sure fuel its going thru the injectors ok, and as i said theres a spark going to each plug, althou obviously if its not strong enuff then that could also be the problem

Gonna compression test it tommorow so i've at least eliminated that from one of the possibilities assuming it aint that
