ive nearly finished a cosworth engine management conversion on my rst and i wanted to no what the purple relay/holder was for and if the car would run without it?

also im going to be using a l8 with pf09 tps but i have no idea if the loom has been converted for the pf09 in the past as ive got it now the red wire is on the left had side of the sensor is this correct?
