I have a 1990 s2 erst it has a stage 1 turbosystems chip, full scorpion exhaust and air filter.holds 16psi

I have installed a front mount airtec intercooler and -31 actuator.i took it out went through 1st and 2nd gears it was holding 20psi got to 3rd gear and 3500rpm and it felt like the engine lost power and shutdown.what would this be/what is causing this?
I guess i shouldnt expect everthin to be honky dorey without a tweek on a rollin road??

 

hi i had the same prob with my old rs and it was not getting enough feul does it happen when going slow in forth and then put your foot down does it happen if so it needs to be set up on rollers........hope that helps
