Default Hot engine

my engine gets REALLY hot after about a 20 min drive, although the temp gauge still sits half way.

The radiator is leaking slighty, so got a new one to get in, but is there anything else that could be wrong?

How do you mean really hot, if temp gauge acting the same, might be a bit of paranoia creeping in ?
If temp gauge the same then it is not getting ANY hotter.

i've never felt an engine get so hot after such a small drive though, but maybe I am just being a bit paranoid.

the problem is, the starter motor gets too hot, and the car struggles a bit to start sometimes after driving for a bit

I will be buying a new starter this week too, after I get the radiator sorted, but I'm just worried that something more serious may be wrong
