i hate an escort gti r reg 1.8 16valve i have been looking for a superchip for it for a wile now and have been offered a chip from a 1.8 16 valve escort he said i need to have jest on my ecu i have only found lair on there can any 1 help if it will work on my car?

 

providing the ecu with the chip in is from another gti/si then just take it to a tuner,put it on and get them to set it up with it on the car. altho i wouldnt expect a lot more power you be lucky to see an extra 10 bhp and a slight increase in torque (unless you have more mods to go on which might help)

 

Don't bother waste of money they do the same as a power boost valve

U will get more from a cam change
