Default a quick cossie boost question

a standard escort cosworth produces how much boosT?

and how much boost is required for stage 1 280bhp?

and how much boost is required (assuming correct uprated parts are in place) to make 330bhp and 400 bhp respectively?

i know it will differ dependant on certain things but as a general rule of thumb?!

thanks for any help in advance

thanks

carl

Not sure on Escort standard boost, but Sierras were 0.7 bar/9-10 psi.

Stage 1 is 1 bar/14.5psi (normally 15 to round it up!).

Think you're looking between 20 and 30psi for those kinda figures mate

I dare say I'm about to be corrected though

15 psi 270-280
23 psi 300-350
28 psi 380-400

Depends on engine spec seen 550 bhp on 21 psi
