ive just had to do a head and cam change on my rst orion as the cam snapped destroying the stage3 head and stainless vavles in the process

i brough just a cheap to get it back on the road (rents going mad at it in the garage )

anyway i noticed a marking on the head where the ** are to indicate its unleaded type. the markings look something like this *2 * 5 *.
does anyone know if this is the marking for over sized cam tappets etc

Yeah it sounds like it to me, is the marking on the front top right of the cylinder head?

 

certainly is and ive spoken to power enginering since then and found out it is oversized

not worried anyway got a powers stage 3 head and kent cam read to go.
this is just to see my by and is actually quite quiet
