Default turbo fitment

alright all,

i need a new turbo on my s2, smokes comeing out militantly out the exhaust, bit not out the turbo, and the turbo gaskets have gone, not sure what else.

anyone know the fitments and dimentions of the s2 '89 turbo? can i fit any t3 on or are they specific to each vehicle? any onther cars with the same turbos?

also is it worth getting this reconditiond or just to get a new one??

cheers.

make your life easy and just get a new turbo, or an exchange one.

Your turbo can't definately be slavaged, most places offer an exchange rather than a re-furbished service.

hi there

sounds like there a crack inside the core
it can be replaced, and will be much cheaper than buying a new turbo

if you want prices etc, give me a bell on 01253 296160 or 07960 935815

Might as well pay a bit more and get 360 and step gap at same time ?

Thats true tabetha,

For the little extra charge, its wise to have the 360 and stepped rear seal seen as the unit is in bits anyhow.
Saves paying for it again if in the future you want the scope to run more boost.

If its cracked you'll get similar symptoms to when the headgasket fails, oil & coolant mixing.

It would still work but not for long before it ceases up i should imagine.
