...the one in my sister's 97 fiesta 1250 has started spilling oil quite badly. Checked the level and its not overfull and it's dry around the drive shaft seals. Bellhousing is dry and gearbox is wet. Seems to be coming from the top of the box and running down the front. Breather is clear but it seems like this is where the oil is coming from. Took the mounting bracket off, and there are no holes or cracks in the casing, Leaving only the breather, but how can it force oil up there when the level is low.
