cozzy wont start

Default cozzy wont start

first of all hello to all on this site is im a newby here great site aswell,well what i want to now if any one can shed some light on a cozzy that iv just got it came as a none runner with the head in the boot witch as been full rebuilt with all new bit and all new gaskets put it all together today and it wont run it goes to fire then just flood the cyclinders with fuel iv rechecked the timing and had the rocker cover off and and checked to see if its out at all but all is as it should be can any one help me with this problem or has anyone els had the same problem many thanks

did you remember to reconnect the water temp sender wiring at the back of the passenger side of the head (just below a water pipe) ? (2 pin plug goes onto the blue sender)

no i havnt pluged that in as i wanted to just fire the car up before i put all the water pipes and all the other bits back on as all this cozzy stuff is new to me mate,so would that cause it to over fuel in the cylinder and not fire then many thanks for your reply

depending on how the car has been mapped, presuming it's not standard, then not plugging in this sensor could indeed prevent the car from starting

yea the car has been remapped and chipped uprated fuel pump and fuel pressure reg and all the other fancy bits that its got on it......will have to try it tomorow with a new set of plugs as the other set are wet with fuel so much that when i try to check for a spark that they wont but if i put an old one on the lead it sparks
