Hi,

I'm getting my run-around ready to use at the end of the month when the turbo goes away, it's a mk3.5 fiesta 1.1 classic, it idles fine, back when i pull away it judders and kangaroo hops, it also does it while i was driving along going through the gears, at first i thought it was cold but gave it a good run and still no better, i can hear it backfiring and i have to dip the clutch and rev.

What causes this? any ideas appreciated

 

backfiring is on ignition side of things so I'd be looking at plugs,leads and if it has a dissy cap and rotor arm or the coil pack playing up?
