Default zvh boost

iv got a 1800 zvh sat in the garage ready for my rst.i brought it second hand,it has skimmed pistons(not sure how much) any one know what boost pressure i can safely run wiv these pistons? are the spacer plates used for lowering compression any good. thanks

i tried 18psi on my 2 litre and melted them to bits then fitted a set of accrilites from burton power quite cheap and made it a 2.1

on a 2 litre with the pistons skimmed enough to bring it down reasonably i was told I could run a bar if the intercooler and fuelling were good!

I hate the idea of skimming pistons, Im using dished blacktop pistons that have been ceramic coated with a 3mm de comp plate. On my last engine i used the same pistons but no ceramic with a 2.5mm de comp plate running 14psi with no problems

I ran 17psi on my 2.1 but it needed a bigger intercooler for any more !!

i have a 2litre one in the garage without the pistons skimmed but a big copper decomp joint from ferriday
