Hi All,

Just in the process of plonking in a new 2ltr cvh to my Westfield....A quick question on the ford electronic ignition set ups.

Any of you knowledgeable people out there know how the advance works on these (I'm running twin 40's, and the vacuum advance is disconnected)....The Dizzy is (I believe) a newer lucus version, and has the two bolt fixing....Do these use springs to set advance at higher rpm or weights?....Any advice on set up also appreciated (Car will have ported head and 280 (ish)duration cam - probably piper 285C.
