The reason I ask is becuase I had this fitted to my escort cosworth in the summer. The way they did it was keeping the original eeciv ecu to run idle control and a/c. Basically had to remove fuse board the other day to re solder it untill i can get a new one and ever since then idles at 3000 rpm which it didnt do half hour before. Been through the basics like cleaning th iscv but makes no difference. If you didconnect it it stops revving. Will removing power from the car cause this sort of fault?
