it depends what way you want to do it i did my own on my saph (similar set up) and it wasnt that bad,the best way to do it is drop the complete rear beam with all the suspension, diff, shafts and brakes attached to it and then you can dissamble the componants in relative ease and reassemble them the same, the old bushes in the trailing arms if there original will require a press to push them out and they can be very tight the new polys are in 2 halfs and just push in the big donut polys that fit into the beam can be a bit of a to squeeze in and when u lift the complete assy in to position you will think that the bolts that go through the donuts are to short but they just about make a thread and then tighten them up until they stop, believe me thr donuts will compress even though its looks impossible,
i did all that myself a few months ago
best of luck

Default drop the beam

Velocity is right....!
Drop the beam, it is so much easier, the only ones that are a pig are the front beam mounts on the rear, i had to us plenty of soapy water and a hoooge vice to squeeze them in and again they look like you will never get the bolts in, however after a lot of swearing, scraped knuckles and thoughts of will it be worth it, they do go in!!!!!!!

I did mine on axle stands on the drive......and you will be suprised how quick you can drop the whole rear end!!!!

Default yes it is

yes its worth it, although it does firm it up quite a bit!!! (if that is what your after)

you will be shocked at how quick it comes out!!!!

remove rear wheels, take the exst off from d/pipe back, undo the 4 bolts that hold the back of the prop on, release h/brake cable pin and clip, undo lower rear shock bolts, release(after clamping)2 x upper brake hoses, unbolt rear a/r/b , unbolt diff mnt from floor , unbolt front beam mnts and your whole back end has just crashed to the floor(if you forgot to support it)
I changed all rear hoses (to aeroquip type) and renewed all rear b/lines while mine was off as they are a lot easier to do then(might be a thought)

I had mine all out , changed all bushes, renewed all rear lines and hoses, welded up the chassis rails with no other help apart from my 6 year old to hold brake pedal down when i bled them it took me all day and some of the evening, however i did have quite a bit of welding to do!!!

I reckon you could piss it in a morning with 2 of you and just changing the bushes!!!!
