WHY are the little things so difficult? changed TPS tonite and wot a job i had removing connectors from plug to swap over

There must b a simple way to get these out?

can anyone give advice so i know next time............

should be a little spring wire u just push this in with your thumb and it should just pull off easily!

on a yb cos engine...?

do you mean the actual connector - or the TPS itself,

quickest and easist way is to remove the rubber inlet pipe , then with a 1/4" drive socket set remove the throttle bosy with TOS attached (4 8mm bolts IIRC) you can then get to remove the wires and TPS very easilly, whole job takes about 10 mins

i'm guessing he means the actual connectors (of which there are 3) in the housing to swap the wires over between PF01 and PF09

you can get special tools for that, but basically you just need a small flatbladed watchmakers screwdriver to push down the hole to release the tab

Yes ur right nick,BUT easier said than done theres two tabs one seems to b ok while the other breaks

i've sorted it but wondered if there was an easier solution......

I guess not as i was doing it right way.

They look good but do they work?

have got many items from them before

may invest in some,and a load of connectors doing my mates TVR at mo and we all know what there electrics are like
