Default Which injectors ???

Ill be quick ,

Zetec 2.1 16 valve turbo , will be runnind OFAC fiesta management , stu said that beige ones wont fuel it very well , he does have a injector to do the job but just wondered if there are any other options ??

i have the chance of some 440cc high impedence injectors , like what was on sunnys fiesta but not sure if i need low impedance ones for the OFAC ecu

Were used on a Pectel ecu so guess not .

Any ideas or comments greatly appreciated .

so will these injectors work then stu ???

dont want to do u out of money mate but i am on a budget , and youll be doin the chip and mapping anyway

The bloke who has them said

"If you are running OFAC you will be limited by injector size as the ECU will
not be able to control large flow injectors at idle properly and you will
end up washing the bores."

will the evo chip get around this ???, more to the point , that lad with the 1.9 chip you mentioned (for running in ) got in touch , would his chip run them till im run in and can come for the full map ??

You cant safely run the worng injectors for the chip Lee, end of story really mate. Sorry.

440cc means nothing either im afaid unless we know

A) 440cc of what exactly?
B) At what pressure?
C) 440cc in what time?

Fair enough stu ,

Will start saving me pennys then and get back to you .

That lad with the 1.9 chip wants £250 for it, does this sound a fair price as i will only be using it to run the car in , then up to u for the full works .??

I suggest you give Ian Howell a ring - he has quite a few different injector choices for you to choose from

"If you are running OFAC you will be limited by injector size as the ECU will
not be able to control large flow injectors at idle properly and you will
end up washing the bores."

this will not be a problem on OFAC - dunno where he got that idea from

I sugest you hand the car over to Stu and let him work his magic

Well,
He paid me £500 to map it live mate only a couple of weeks ago.

Its parked here as we speak being uprated to bigger injectors and yet another live map..........

You decide... An off the shelf chip from Superchips for Beige injectors on a 1.6 is what? £500+?

It's not that you need a new chip, you just need it re-writen.

Yes,
I can re-write this one no problems, and that option is available to him, however, the cost of a blank eec module is low and all i can discount the job for is the cost of said module, as thats all i am personally saving on the job by using his own.

It was wisely decided that he would re-coup far more by selling it as a still programmed package to go with his now also spare 701 injectors.

Hope this helps.

To elaborate..
If i rewrite your own plug in module, the only discount available to you is the cost i have saved by not supplying you a new blank module to hold my program.

As we have these manufactured in bulk because we do a lot of them and also supply the modules to dealers with programmers for them, this cost is relatively low, so your better of keeping it as its a programmed and saleable unit to you.
