got a problem with my 1.6 1990 xr2i the battery is permently on and wen i rev it the light gets brighter.i have cheked that the alternator and it seems ok voltage on battery is about 14 when the car is running.any ideas???

 

its the regulator on the alternator had the same problem on my old fiesta rs was readin around 14 on the battery

 

how do i fix this

 

sure its no the blue wire on the alternator
either not connected or connected incorrectly
