Never had a need for one, always keep the tank over 1/4 full. And that's with 235 semi slick tyres all round.

Yep only an issue from 1/4tank and below, but not always an option to fill up everytime it gets that low plus thats an expense and nusense

I had to fit one in my saff. Never ever had a surge issue till I got an after market tank as mine was rusty had it aeroquiped and fitted it. First time i nailed it it surged like fuck. Internal tank swirl pot was crap. Mine has a 2L one fitted with an 044 feeding it

if you had 044 feeding it what pump did you use after the swirlpot?

My swirl pot was an after fault because of a crap after market tank. The car already had an 044 in the normal fuel pump place. I fitted the swirl pot in the boot so plumbed that pump into the pot. It did have another 044 fed from the swirl pot to feed the rail but it now has a aeromotive eliminator as I'm going for 650bhp

Looks like a tidy way to do it.

Most generic swirl tanks never seem to fit anything neatly. Although some of the likes of Nuke/Radium where they use internal pumps are much tidier than those generic tanks with external pumps.

Is your return to main tank at same height as the feeds?
