I got it all cleaned up at work and one of the guys in the workshop coated it with some sort of stuff (black) that all our downhole tools get covered in. I am waiting on the other pullys to be done so i will get some pics up as soon as i get them back

Forgot to ask paul does that oil cap have a wee bleeper on it to tell you if it is closed properly

Wont need a bleeper. Trust me that thing will be checked and double checked every time i go to close the bonnet.

Power steering one. its a bit pitted but came up not bad

Going flat oot Robbie all this polishing with steel wool is not good for me

Hope to have it back on the road within the next month and get some decent milleage from it during the course of this year

Going to get some track days in as well but not before i get some decent stoppers on there.

Glad to see that you have started on yours going to be good with the spec that you have gone for

Ok folks i have a very small update,

I have been waiting for loads of parts to arrive and have been feeling pretty unwell over the past couple of weeks so not much has happened im affraid

Went out tonight and spent a few hours getting the oil cooler all plumbed in so here are a couple of pics

Hopefully i will start to get back into it in a big way next week and get the thing back on the road soon

Feeling alot better now. Been busy building up another Escort Cossie engine for someone over the past few days so i will hopefully get going with my own one this week. Only waiting on a few parts to arrive and that should be everything

Robbie,

Its taken long enough but the head is sitting ready to be lifted on. Im just waiting for some pipes for the Pre-Turbo filter cos i will fit that before i fit the head. Also waiting on wheel studs and my new baby board to arrive and thats it will be full steam ahead after that

Never forgot about you so we will sort it out when you get home

With regards to the white one yes we will have a look at it but prob best to wait untill your back. Whenever that is

Not keeping the turbo filter, it has your name on it and is sitting nice and safe awaiting your return and of course your money

I am going a different route with the turbo / filter combo.
