Hey Luke, you up for Gatebil this year? If car not going, got a spare seat, but Jimbo will need the front seat because he's a string bean

Thinking it's a bearing issue.
Box is out and being driven back to manufacturer as I write to be inspected/repaired.
Not too happy about the whole issue!

Gutted for you Luke, fingers crossed its a simple fix, sadly I can imagine regardless of the box maybe being fixed FOC that doesn't cover the costs of all the hassle its caused !

It's the hassle and near heart attack I had when it happened.
Then the hassle JKM had trying to get the car out of the dyno and onto a ramp. Big thanks to them
Lets hope its a "cheap" fix !!

lol spare 'box, like they're that cheap or supposed to go wrong that regularly!
Alex swapped to the MTX and seems to be working alright so far. Except for the pub talk "I've got a 6 speed."

Hahaha this is true, but apart from the issues...that box is the best thing I've fitted to that car. Transformed it 200%
Just need to learn to live with the cost of running it. Spare box is on the cards though - then I wont be afraid of SantaPod

Mate had a problem with his elite box in his impreza P1, fitted it put it into reverse to get it off the ramp and the box locked up. Turned out the reverse gear was fucked and elite didn't want to know so hope you have better luck with there customer service than he did

I've also heard as much bad reports as good ones regarding the Elite stuff.
The one thing that does seem to separate them from the other gearbox manufacturers is they do appear to do what they can to rectify any problems, ofcourse thats only what I have heard off a few people, the proof will be how they rectify the problem with Lukes gearbox
I bet you would be hard pushed to get as much support from the likes of the bigger manufacturers, saying that who actually knows, I doubt anyone has been brave enough to get a price off Xtrac for a 500+hp capable sequential
