It's Hammerite!

Anyway, I'd go for powdercoating everytime.

i think poadercoating looks the best, but have been told powder coating isnt hard wearing enough for the rear axle. and that powder coating is resistant to heat , however is very very prone to chipping on light impact.

my mate just had some parts done.................... looks good!

powder coating all the way. very strong & rust resistant. hammerite isnt really that rust resistant & tends to chip off easily. as said powder coatin aint that expensive in solid colours. budget Ł60 for a cossy rear beam & trailing arms. that aint to bad when you consider you take them along to the powder coaters dirty & rusty & pick em up lookin better than new.

powder coating will be fine for the underside parts, its what your coil springs on suspension kits etc are coated with remember
