Done a great job there dude. What colour is it?

Did you find any problems using the 1300 shell? Thinking of re-shelling my own into a Bonus shell.

Cheers

im unsure of the exact colour mate,i was sure it was imperial blue as thats what we done the underside with but the lad who done the spray job on the outside tells me otherwise,i cant remember the exact colour he said but its similar.
i had no problem at all using the 1300 shell mate, everything fitted spot on.

dunno why it sits so high mate?i think it may be cos the spings and shocks are new and aint settlet yet,as the springs are supposedley -25mm.
engine is staying standard till i get her going again, then hopefully i can afford to get NMS to tune it.

alright mate, glad youve decided to reshell yours,it can be a pain in the arse sometimes but overall its fun work
best hint i can give,is to prepare the bonus shell before you strip your donor car,i stripped the rs turbo before i even got my bonus shell and i lost as lot of parts and a lot got broken too while laying around in the shed
if you have the bonus shell ready and then just take bits off your car and add them to the bonus shell gradually it is a lot simpler, and you dont have to spend a morning looking for little bits that you need,i really wish i had done it that way
good luck mate

Cheers - top man!

I have a Bonus shell now, its Mattisse blue, 1.1 with no sunroof - just what I was after. All the main parts are solid but putting the doors, tailgate and bonnet from the XR onto it - shell only cost Ł30! Will get some pictures up soon.

Thanks again dude.

i was quite shocked when they told me how much it would be.

today went to the garage and went to start her, nothing there,i looked at the switch for the headlamps and realised id left them on
put the jump leads on and she started, ran for about 30seconds and cut out,now 95% of the time she wont start and when it does it runs like shite and the turbo hisses like its burning water
