Default Skyline gearbox in Sapphire

Hello!

Since I broke my 4wd Cossies gearbox, I have been playing with the thought of putting a Skyline R32 box in the car.

Has anyone got any pics or info of the conversion? Or has anybody done this conversion? What needs to be changed?
I think that at least these parts must be fabricated: cardan shafts, bell housing and clutch? Do I need to make changes to
the transmission tunnel, raise or widen (or both) it? Can I still use the cable clutch or do I have to install hydraulic clutch?
Is it possible to use the ATTESA-system in Sapphire?

Are there any companies that offer parts needed for the conversion? ZOOMotorsport? I'm most interested in finding
the bell housing ready-made. I can make the other parts myself or have them made.

Martin's already done the conversion into a Sapphire, and I believe he can supply the ready cast bellhousing.

The bellhousing Martin supplies is to fit the OSGiken 6speed sequential box, not the std skyline box.

yes supra box is rear wheel drive but it can stand enormous power...

Ryan Woon's 1340 rwhp Supra uses the stock gearbox still and runs 8.9 quarter...

The Supra box is a Getrag box isn't it? Apparently it's similar to that fitted on E36 M3's?

Read it on another post talking about a 1000bhp M3 on fiestaturbo.com

I always wonderd about putting an evo box in a cossie because they can handle 700+hp standard.

standard supra boxes are spot on, are used on some mega power cars, not unburstable, but do the job.

pretty much same basic box on the inside as R34GTR 4wd one, and i think M3 6speeder too.

totally different casings mind.

EVO box wouldnt be much good as the engine is transverse on an EVO, cossies are longditudley mounted.

easiest option surely is a Scooby box! longditudley mounted engine, i think the late 6speeders are strong as standard (i may be wrong, cant quite remember), but no matter what, the uprated boxes are mega mega strong, at brunters on monday a scooby was getting some serious serious hammer (60 in 2.6, 100 in 5.6 ) and stood up to it no problem, and that was running a 5spd box uprated with PPG dog internals.

I know, Seans was the 1st, mine was the 2nd, that is the only 2 that have been done so far, Martins is the 3rd, but he's not using the std skyline box.

Martin modifies the std skyline box to fit the Ford bolt pattern, he now also produces a cast bellhousing to fit the OSGiken 6 speed box to the ford bolt pattern, this does not fit on the std skyline box.

Actually there has been three so far because Lloyd put one in his mk4 escort cosworth but that was Seans old box.
How does he modify the Pattern.
