I was speaking to my old dear about it last night as shes a bit of a decorating/painting expert, and she reckoned with this thing she got i could get a quite decent look.

Trip to B+Q over the weekend then i think

Hoping my front mounted intercooler kit would arrive today but no sign of it
My bucket seat was also posted yesterday so hoping that is waiting for me when i get home.

Ive pulled a feckin muscle in my right shoulder so its gonna be a fuker working on the car this weekend...

Huzzah! Even more new stuff today! I fucking huge front mounted intercooler and all the alloy pipes and hoses to connect it up!

Fookin THREE inches thick. RS500 ones are 2inch thick IIRC.

All the hoses too.

The hose clamps that came with it are the bollocks as well

WELL pleased with it, really good quality.

Yea, thats the bit im looking forward to the most Andy!

And yea, i fully expect to spin a lot of times, it was hard enough getting used to kicking the clutch and not spinning it- using weight transfer to initiate i was used to, and let Kenny drive my car and was initiating drifts with clutch kicks with so little effort it was unbelivable, so i did it, and the car just went right round almost on the spot

Need to countersteer even before youve done it, and the handbrake is gonna be the same i think

fly off hand brakes are the tits!!

mate Nev has one in his volvo, as you say, they are either on or off, proper quality when your flat out into a bend head on and then a quick yank on the hand brake its flat out sideways and dialling in the wheel spin to the drift!!

Indeed, why pay 5 times the amount for a Jap badge when others make just as good kit.

Fook that

BTW, no pics, but we did more work, me n dan (fudgeass) cracked on with it on sunday, reconneced the hyro clutch, dan made some new brake pipes, i removed the front bumper, rebolted the gearbox mounts, the loom, shit like that, close now to working, possibly...

No prob Dan, youve helped loads with the car so glad i can help you
PMSL@the mondeo tho

My bucket seat arrived today! (cheers IMA! )

Only 60quid delivered inc base mounts (2nd hand of course, but still cheap).
Shame the fucking elivery people just dumped it on the drive behind one of my cars as nobody was home but still...

I need to get the glue out as the rubbery bit around one of the harness holes has came away, but barring that tis spot on

Was told it was very light, and when I saw it it was obvious why, and im sure you can see from the side and rear pics why too...

Nice n comfy too, some people must be a whole lot fatter than me if they have trouble with seats like this

Know what you mean about the sizes. I thought I'd need a GT version until I sat in one. It was a fucking arm chair

Not yet mate, not done anything to the car lately, no time.
Gonna go on a bit of a mission with it tomorrow to get it running again (just needs brakes bleeding etc, nowt much) and then depending on time might fit it then.
If not it dont matter, main thing is to get it running so can drive it down to Bath so i got somewhere inside i can work on it day or night, rain or shine.
THEN it will really come on fast

No video camera, but its high on by to-buy list, i got sooo much highly illegal street drifting that needs filming, lol

Figures? I dunno, not loads to be honest, 250odd with the intercooler etc on?

Dont need power really, just a good suspension n diff setup to drift, and lots of bottle, lol.
Want about 300-330bhp in near future, but mainly torque and instant responce, thats most important.

i loved my s13, shame it spent more time being fixed rather than being driven, and every time i planted it, it just felt like it was going to go bang

Me n greg got new enigne running again earlier, properly sweet it is, motor is quiet as fuck

We will finish the job 2moz then il drive it down to the workshop n get properly cracking with it.

Got soe serious engine mods to go on, but its blatantly not needed, its all about the setup n the skills, 200 odd is just fine with the right motor.

But still, got stuff to do

Be interested how you get on with that XS Power intercooler.

There's fookin huge debate raging on the MR2 boards about these - usual Jap only lot saying, "No Greddy must be best cos it costs most" etc....

Looks like good kit for the money.......

PON- They dicks as usual, loads of people use them now and they are the bollocks, its proper Bar n Plate too, way more efficient than Tube n Fin.
Let em get on with it.

Jamz- Yup, thats the same ones, and GTC are selling them as their own too- www.linney.org/GTCpartscooling.htm bet they charging about 800quid for em too.
