Man, you must have alot of metal-dust in your hair
I guess your bath tub is always black when you leave it, right?
That´s real mens work
I know how much work that is, and I have to say im really impressed!

Thats serious bare metal action
Do you think you may have some kind of bare metal fetish perhaps?
Should keep it solid for the next twenty years

Top stuff!
I love it!
As I'm no expert, can I ask what specs the pneumatic grinder and compressor need to be to be up for the job?
I've got no workshop tools, but would be into buying a comp/grinder combo if there's a budget option.
Is it possible to use them for porting too?
cheers

Hey People..
My apologies for not checking the thread after.. I kinda got the car home and deliberately forgot all about it as i needed a break lol..
Thanks for all your kind comments and no i dont have a fetish for bare metal Although i agree that it does look like it looooool..
Have no idea on the specs required for the tools.. I gues you can use them for porting etc, I'm actually using a belt sander atm to open up the holes on an exhaust manifold so i guess so
As i have finished all my other projects that i hve had on the go.. I have no real reason for not continuing with it!! So best i pull my finger out..
Cheers again - Phil

Hey Ladies and Gents..
Yet again another apology for being a slacker lol.. I have been a busy boy again.. Just wish i had more time and money to finish the old girl off instead of burrying her in the garage for months at a time..
Another update for you..
I'll do my very best to not do every image with a bit more bare metal showing lol, So i'll jump straight in with this little lot..
Thanks again for your patience!!
All ready for the joins and edges to be sealed up and another layer of primer before the stonechip goes on..
More sealing to be done lol, then hopefully some two pack primer going on afterwards..
Crap pic alert
Next stage was to do exactly the same to the engine bay area that i did to the rear sections.. Technically its a smaller less troublesome area to do but it was early days to make rash statements like that
Just liked this view so i took a pic
Rear is now all sealed up, Next is basically be to lightly pad it all down and hit it with some primer to seal the whole rear section  This will then be followed by a nice healthy portion of Stonechip..
Also whilst waiting for the primer to dry, I continued with the engine bay cleaning up..
So thats all the rear section sealed up
On with the Engine bay..
To be continued..
Cheers - Phil

Moved back onto the back again lol..
Finished off in stonechip..
Then back onto the floorpans and front lol..
Nigh on all the engine bay and centre floorpans were back to bare metal at this point, I basically had a days graft left to get all the edges and corners done before the 2-pack etch primer went on
Ohh yes Baby!!
To be continued..

Aaaaaand Carrying on..
laid down some 2-pack grey primer for some high build so that i could bury some of my impatient grinding with a nice flatting back..
Started sealing up the engine bay too at this point..
Onto the stonechipped Floor (In best Jeremy Clarkson voice  )
To be continued..

This next stage is the milestone i have been waiting over 4 years for.. The application of some good old Diamond White..
Still have work to do on the outside of the shell and closures so its only the engine bay, floor and insides that got splattered with the white stuff lol..
Will shut up again and let the pics do the talking.
As ever time was the bug bear yet again so i had to rush and fit her back together and get her back home..
Thats it for now Folks.. She is now all snug in my garage.
Next step is for me to save money now as i have to make loads of purchases before i can finish the paintwork off..
Updates asafp..
Thanks for looking, Cheers - Phil
