I doubt if you get a manifold off Gary the turbo will sit there. More than likely be over to the gearbox side abit. That's a bad manifold witch I don't think is designed for a cvh.

sounds good matt mate, certainly is going to be one of the better big cvh builds out there, nice to see someone still willing to go so far with one instead of the usual zetec route etc

Yea there actually a really good engine once you start squaring and preventing the problems they ran ..the heads the week point so all mine as been paid attention to solve that and the oil pressure issues they run ( no more worn cams hopefully ) ..and the inlet and exhaust are going to a more efficient item as my builds going to be as efficient as possible ..so we can run good power with less boost and less stress that's the idea about blue printing and balancing the engine so it's nice free flowing ..so fingers crossed it all works out mate .

look forward to seeing what power this puts down, i still have a fully balanced bottom end and a stg3 head on my escort was somewhat limited by the MFI, used to spool nice and pull like a train.
Tempted to put rods and pistons with my management see how it preforms.

Tbh mate ive no power figure in mind anything between 270 and 300 would be fine for me ..been told it will do 300 with ease ..it will be what it will be ...and you're spec sounds great get some rods and pistons in and will go well on managment .

i was 187 at the wheels 14-15 psi but like it safe i have a set of rods and management just require pistons.

300 would be a very nice figure TBH i would be delighted if my ST engine made that.
keep up the good work.

On Sunday the car will be moved again to my premises where I will fit the wheels and brakes and start by removing the engine and strip a lot of stuff off ..as I'm going to machine polish under the bonnet and spruce it up a little more ..then wait for the new engine to arrive ready to drop .
