Default is it fixable??

Finally pulled my finger out and started sortin the onion out, fair bit of welding needs doin so far but nothing that cant be fixed, there is something I need some help with tho...after ripping the sopping wet, mouldy old roofliining out I established where the wet was coming from, the rear of the panel where the sunroof sits when open has rusted all the way through at the drainage pipes on each corner an has spread up to just before the middle door Pilar (on this panel, no rust on anyrhing structual...yet!) is this something that can be fixed with a couple plates or a bit of small box section? From what I can see at the minute the rust is still only on this panel and hasn't spread to the outer roof panel or pillars...I will try and get some pictures up of the problem as soon as I get to a proper computer

Cheers

Had it on the road for 2 years since and it didnt seem to get any worse, ive just binned my sunroof in favour of a carbon roof which im fetching on Saturday so no more worrying about leaky sunroofs.

Is this a result of the pipes being blocked and shitty seals/rubbers? I managed to snap the top of the pipe earlier tryin to get it off and they look like a pain in the arse to replace..if they can be replaced

Remove the glass first, its 6 screws, the actual sunroof tray itself is only secured by some screws around where the glass sits, you can cut the back part of the tray no problems

Can you not make a new piece up and silkoflex it up there?
Would save getting the roof hot...?
