Hi there
Is there anybody on here that has fitted a cozzy engine to a mk1 escort ?
Just wonderd if anybody has run there heater system through the sandwich plate by oil filter & also through the turbo water feed ? Not sure if this is the best way to do it.
If there is anybody that needs any info regarding way's to convert most other parts for a mk1 on here......I would be more than happy to help .
I have done most of mine myself and had so much fun doing it !!! alot of work but near the end of my rebiuld now thank god.

What rad and inter cooler are you using?

Hi there
Not added any pic's just yet but will tomorrow.
Rad is from west wales rally spares.... inter cooler is actually a charge cooler from pace products that I brought.
I have been told that you get much less turbo lag with these as they are water cooled as well as air.
Is that your own car that is posted then ? would luv to know more about how your doing it ?
I have my own body shop....so if you need any help with your body work, I would be more than happy to help.
Talking of body work.....don't think you need any help with that if that pic is really of you ?

The heater system runs through the sandwich plate as standard on Cosworths. One port of the sandwich plate connects to the head, the other to the heater matrix if i remember correctly. The turbo water feed is separate, the feed comes from the thermostat housing and the return goes to your header tank.

The T35 Escort Cosworths had a charge cooler system standard so i'd say the easiest way to feed water to yours is copy their system?
