after havin to let me old s2 in me sig go due to the dreded rust a new project was needed!!

picked up a clean standard s2 with the hope of having a clean one and a few mods!! but the gear box decidied to not play on the way home!!!

well the car was sitting on the drive felling sorry for it`s self when a great deal on a s1 came up!!! all for £1000



was intending to poss do this one up but it was really beyond me but i did like what was under the bonnet!!!



anyway decided that that lot would look much better in the s2 and the engine, box, suspension and management was kept and the rest of the parts sold off

this weekend the engine was fitted into the s2!!!







and some pics of the s1 being stripped!!!!

nope sold it a few days after!! minus a few bits!!!

also got a pace rad on sunday for £180 thanks to a1 rallysport for a great deal!!!

the car looks great mate. where can i get a spacer plate for an efi inlet manifold from? to fit it to a s2 head as i am doing an efi conversion myself. thanks mate.
